On arrival at the international airport, you'll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Check in to your hotel and relax.

In the morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Chennai visiting the 17 th century magnificent Fort St. George with an interesting museum containing relics of the British Raj. Next we visit the St. Mary's Church that contains plaques and statues in memory of British soldiers. Later we'll visit the 8th century Parathasarathy Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and the amazing Kapaleeshwara Temple , with its 40m high gopuras covered in stucco figures. Rest of the day free for independent activities.

In the morning, our representative will assist you transfer to airport to board a flight to Madurai. On arrival you'll be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. After freshening up, visit the fascinating Tirumalayak Palace. The palace originally consisted of two residential sectors, plus a theatre, private temple, harem, royal bandstand, armory, and gardens. Later visit the Meenakshi Temple spread over 6 hectares and its enormous " gopurams " or towers are covered with profusion of multi colored images of mystical figures, animals and gods.

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll proceed on a daylong excursion to Chettinad located 60 Km east of Madurai. Once the home of the rich Chettiars, Chettinad is known for its elegant havelis (mansions) and houses. You will have lunch at Bangala-Karaikudi (The Chettinad Palace). In the later afternoon, we return back to Madurai for an overnight stay.

In the morning, our representative will assist you transfer to airport to board a flight back to Chennai. On arrival at the airport you'll be met by our representative, and we drive to Mahabalipuram- the ancient port city famous for its shore temples. Arrive and check in to your hotel. After freshening up, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram visiting the Arjuna's Penance , the rock temple at Krishna Mandapa depicting the Lord Krishna shaking a mountain, and the beautiful Shore Temples known for their two-tiered structure carved with incredible detail.

After breakfast at the hotel, morning at leisure. In the afternoon, we'll proceed to Kanchipuram, the 4th century holy city renowned for its artistic skill and architectural achievements for thousands of years. Visit the 8th century Kailashnath Temple , with the finest and most incredible carvings of Lord Shiva, his consort, and demonic mythical lions. Also see the amazing Vaikunth Perumal Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu with the unusual scenes on its walls depicting Pallavi history.

After breakfast at the hotel, morning will be free to relax on the beach. In the afternoon, we'll drive back to Chennai. On arrival our local representative will meet you and assist you transfer to Chennai international airport to board a flight for your onward destination with sweet memories of South India Golden Triangle Tour.
