Day 01: Arrival at Cochin

Upon arrival at the Cochin International Airport / Railway Station, our representative will greet you and transfer you to the hotel of your choice. Afternoon post our lunch, we leave for sightseeing of Cochin City . The main attractions at Cochin are the Jewish Synagogue, the Dutch Palace at Mattancherry, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets and Bolgatty Palace. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Cochin.

Day 02: Cochin/Kumarakom

Early morning after breakfast, we depart for Kumarakom (70 km/2 hrs) and check into your hotel by noon. Kumarakom is a unique backwater destination, situated on

the banks of Vembanad Lake. Kumarakom bird sanctuary is a favorite haunt of migratory birds from across the world, making it a renowned bird watching centre. It is also a center for houseboat cruises. In the afternoon, go on excursion to neighboring places. Stay overnight at the hotel of your choice.

Day 03: Kumarakom / Houseboat (Alleppey)

Enjoy your breakfast in morning and board a houseboat for sightseeing and cruises to Alleppey. Keep exploring the backwaters by the houseboat throughout the day. Overnight will be at houseboat. Relish the traditional Kerala cuisine on the houseboat. The houseboats (called Kettuvallams locally) are giant country boats, measuring up to 80 feet in length. It takes great skill and perfectionism to construct these giant houseboats by tying huge planks of jack wood together, without the use of a single nail. These houseboats usually have one or two bathrooms (western style), an open lounge, deck, kitchenette and a crew comprising oarsmen, a cook and guide.

Day 04: Alleppey

Your interaction with backwaters of Kerala comes to an end and you head back home with sweet memories of your Kerala tour. Transfer to airport / railway station to your onward destination or back home.

Day 1: Arrival at Cochin

Upon arrival our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon we will go for a half-day sightseeing by boat, visiting Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Thomas Church, St. Mary's Cathedral, Chinese Fishing Nets and, Bolghatty Palace. Overnight will be at hotel.

Day 2: Cochin: Munnar

After hearty breakfast and proceed to Munnar (3.5 hrs/130km) visiting Cheyyappara Water Falls on your way. Check in to the hotel of your choice by noon. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar

Munnar boasts of sprawling tea plantations, picture postcard towns, winding lanes and a trekking landscape. It was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Empire in south India. Enjoy your breakfast in the morning and set out to explore Munnar, visiting tea plantations, Anamudi, Eravikulam National Park, Devikulam, Mattupetty, Pullivasal, Pothamedu, Attukad etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Munnar.

Day 4: Munnar: Thekkady

After breakfast we proceed to Thekkady (Periyar) and check in to the hotel of your choice by noon (3.5 hrs-110km). Thekkady is home to the Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Periyar has a lot to offer in terms of natural beauty and wildlife and is famous for its rare habitat of birds and animals and is one of the most popular destinations for nature lovers. Afternoon sightseeing includes spice plantations etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Thekkady.

Day 5: Thekkady

Breakfast follows boating at the Periyar lake Wildlife sanctuary. Afterwards we will take you to explore the nearby spice villages of Murikady, Pandikkuzhi etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Thekkady.

Day 6: Thekkady - Kumarakom

Have your breakfast and proceed to Kumarakom and upon reaching check-in to your Houseboat by noon. The best way to explore the backwaters of Kerala is by houseboats (Kettuvalams). It's time for you to set sail for a quiet and memorable backwater cruise through paddy fields, coconut lagoons, narrow canals and coir villages to Alleppey. Dinner and overnight stay at Houseboat.

Day 7: Houseboat - Cochin

After breakfast you will proceed to Cochin and check in to your resort by noon. You can spend rest of the day in shopping for local artifacts and souvenirs. In the evening, you may visit the marine drive. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Kochi/Cochin.

Day 8: Cochin

Have your breakfast and rest for a while before leaving for airport / railway station to catch the onward flight / train for your next destination.

Day 01: Arrival at Cochin

Upon arrival at Cochin our representative will meet and transfer you to the hotel of your choice. Check in at the hotel and relax for some time. Kochi has the finest natural harbor. It became the first European township in India when the Portuguese settled here in the 15th century AD. Today, there are nearly thirteen communities living in the city. Day 02: Cochin - Munnar

Breakfast will be at hotel. Check out and proceed to Munnar. Munnar is considered to be one of the most attractive hill stations in Kerala. Anamundi, the highest peak in south India rising to a height of 2695 m lies in Munnar. Munnar, which means the 'Three Rivers', lies on the confluence of the three mountain streams, namely, Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. On arrival at Munnar, check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Munnar.

Day 03: Munnar

Breakfast will be at your hotel in Munnar. Proceed for the sightseeing tour. Visit Raja Malai, a top peak of Gama Square, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church, VOC Gate and Bastion Bungalow. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Kochi.

Day 04: Munnar - Thekkady

Breakfast will be at your hotel. We check out and proceed for Thekkady which is a small town, lying on the Western Ghats and is abundant with high hills, sweet-smelling spice plantations and the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. On arrival at Thekkady, check in at the hotel of your choice. In the evening, visit the local market at Kumily to buy some authentic Indian spices. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Thekkady.

Day 05: Thekkady

Breakfast will be at your hotel. Thereafter we will proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady. We visit the Periyar National Park to watch the rare species of plants and animals. In the afternoon, visit Spice Plantations of cardamom, cinnamon and pepper and Coffee and Tea Gardens. On the way back to your hotel, you can stop at the local market to pick up some fresh and fragrant spices. In the evening, enjoy a memorable boat cruise at the lake, watching wild animals and birds. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Thekkady.

Day 06: Thekkady - Kumarakom

Have your breakfast at the hotel. Check out and proceed to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is located on the Vembanad Lake and is 10 km from Kottayam. The land at Kumarakom seems to be divided into a series of islands formed due to a comprehensive network of canals and lakes. You will soon realize that there is only one island formed because of the backwaters. Upon arrival at Kumarakom, check in to the hotel of your choice. In the afternoon, enjoy the world famous authentic Ayurveda Massages at the resort. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Kumarakom.

Day 07: Kumarakom

Breakfast will be at hotel and after we go out to enjoy a sightseeing tour of Kumarakom. Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Enjoy a calm cruise at the backwaters or Vembanad Lake. Attend Yoga Classes in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight will be at Kumarakom.

Day 08: Kumarakom - Kovalam

Have your breakfast at hotel and check out and proceed to Kovalam, which is situated on the Malabar Coast along the shoreline of Kerala, is called a 'Grove of Coconuts'. Dotted by numerous coconut palm trees, Kovalam has earned the reputation as one of the most favourite beaches in India. Upon arrival at Kovalam, check in at the hotel. Relax for some time. Visit the beach in the evening. Spend some time practicing Meditation or Yoga at the resort. Dinner and overnight stay will be at resort in Kovalam.

Day 09: Kovalam

Enjoy your breakfast be at hotel and later participate in the Yoga and Meditation Classes. In the evening, you will be free for leisure activities. Spend the night at Kovalam after your delicious dinner.

Day 10: Departure Kovalam

Like all other good things coming to an end, your Yoga meditation tour of Kerala also comes to an end. We check out and transfer at leisure for the onward train or flight to the next destination or back home.
