Day 3 : Gangtok
Half day sightseeing in and around the capital city of Sikkim, Gangtok, covering Chortan Stupa, Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), Institute of Handicrafts and Handlooms (closed on Sundays). After lunch we visit Roomtek Monastery and Dharma Chakra Centre (24 km / 45 mins). Dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.
Day 4 : Gangtok
Half day trip to Tsomgo Lake (12400 ft) which is only 32 kms from Gangtok city. This lake is almost about 1 km long, oval in shape and around 15 metres deep. Tsomgo lake is considered sacred by the local inhabitants. The evening is free at Gangtok for your shopping and individual activity. Dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.
Day 5 : Gangtok - Pelling
Transfer to Pelling (120 kms / 5 hrs) Situated on a ridge, at an altitude of 2,040 meters with some excellent and marvellous views of peaks and glaciers of the Kanchendzonga range.The main attraction here is the monastic complex of Pemayangtse, Sikkim's oldest monastery, Sangachoeling, ruins of Sikkim's 17th century capital-Rabdentse, and Khechopolari lake. The evening is free for your personal shopping or resting. Dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.
Day 6 : Pelling
In the morning, after having our delicious breakfast, we leave for sightseeing in and around Pelling, covering Changay Falls, Singshore Bridge (world's 2nd highest hanging bridge), Dentam Baza and Pemayangtse Monastery. In afternoon we visit Rimbi Falls, the sacred Kechodpalri Lake, Kanchendzonga Falls and Rimbi Power Project. Dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.
Day 7 : Pelling - Darjeeling
Today morning after breakfast, we leave for Darjeeling (125 kms / 6.5 hrs).The name Darjeeling is a composition of ' dorje ' meaning ' thunderbolt' and ' ling ' meaning ' place ' ... ' the Land of Thunderbolt '. Gifted to the British East India Company in 1817, Darjeeling is the hill station of West Bengal. This has been called the queen of hill-stations, and produces the world famous Darjeeling Tea , one of the world's finest teas. It is also home to the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway , a World Heritage Site. Darjeeling with its natural beauty provides a wide variety of activities from leisurely scenic walks to more

Day 8 : Darjeeling
Early morning visit the Tiger Hills to watch the spectacular sunrise. Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop while returning to the hotel. After breakfast visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, the mall and the local market. Evening free for shopping and individual activity. Dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.
Day 9 : Depart Darjeeling
Morning transfer to Bagdogra airport for your onward flight back to Delhi.
